Job Description - Business Development Manager

Location: Chester | Full-Time | Competitive Salary + Uncapped Commission

I’m currently working with a fast-growing advertising business based in Chester that’s on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to help drive their next phase of growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, energetic self-starter who’s eager to make a real impact. The company is ambitious, forward-thinking, and looking for someone who can match their pace and passion.

About the Role:

As Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding the client base, building strong commercial relationships, and pushing the business forward in a competitive market. You’ll work closely with the leadership team and have a direct hand in shaping strategy and securing new revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and targeting new business opportunities across various sectors

  • Building and nurturing strong, long-term client relationships

  • Creating tailored advertising solutions that deliver results

  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close

  • Collaborating internally to ensure seamless campaign delivery

  • Tracking sales metrics and market trends to inform strategy

What We're Looking For:
  • A proven track record in business development or B2B sales

  • A proactive, go-getter mindset - someone who’s not afraid to knock on doors

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • A background in digital, media, or technical sales is highly advantageous

  • Based in Chester or surrounding areas (or happy to commute)
