Description

• Develop growth strategies and plans for the sales department.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
• Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
• Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation, generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
• Understand the needs of your customers and respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
• Draw up client contracts
• Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them.
• Ensure staff are on board throughout the organisation, and understand the need for change and what is required of them.

Profile

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

• Proven sales track record.
• Ability to build rapport.
• Outstanding negotiation skills.
• Strong market knowledge, particularly in the facilities management sector.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Lives in or near London and have the ability to frequently travel to customers

Job Offer
