Business Development Manager – Construction Equipment
A market leading organisation within the Construction Equipment sector have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their team as a result of growth and success!

Role: Business Development Manager
Area: UK wide
Salary: in the region of £50,000, negotiable based on candidate’s experience

Location:

Home based – a Midlands based candidate would be ideal for travel
Travel throughout England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland

The requirements of the Business Development Manager will be:

Actively targeting new and relevant accounts/businesses to bring in new members and proactively prospecting
Regular meetings across the UK with new prospective customers and existing customers plus attending trade shows and member events
Managing smaller accounts to grow them where necessary and manage accounts at risk of lapsing
Account Management via regular check ins and at least annual visits with larger accounts
Identify any possible areas of innovation to capitalise on the current market

The ideal candidate for Business Development Manager will have:

Strong sales experience and an established network within the Construction Equipment industry is essential
Some technical understanding within the Construction Equipment industry
Well established and credible within the sector
