Job Description - Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager
  • Salary: Negotiable
  • Location: Camberley
  • Job Type: Full-time, typical hours 9am-5pm

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Field Sales Executive to join a well-established, family-run commercial installation company based in Camberley. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales background and a drive to succeed in a competitive market.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and client visits.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exploring opportunities for upselling.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential and existing clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.
  • Provide feedback from clients to enhance product offerings and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to develop marketing materials and sales strategies.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in field sales, preferably in the construction or commercial installation sector but not essential
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive approach to sales and a strong drive to achieve results.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
