Job Description - Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager

Location: Newport

Position: Full time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + uncapped commission

Our Client:

Autograph Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with a well-established, successful business who have exciting growth plans. We are looking for a motivated, autonomous, Business Development Manager to join their hard working, busy team.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will obtain new business through product and service sales to customers. This person will be d edicated and punctual, uphold the company’s admirable reputation and contribute to the company’s impressive development targets.

My client is committed to providing all training to the right candidate.

Responsibilities of Business Development Manager:

  • Generate new leads and qualify prospects
  • Develop and execute sales strategies
  • Build relationships with customers and close deals
  • Track and report on sales performance
  • Conduct research and maintain details knowledge of customer base and leads
  • Develop deep understandings of customer needs and solutions
  • Create customised proposals and giving valuable feedback to the team
  • Negotiate prices to ensure profitability and competitivity

The ideal candidate:

  • Demonstration of a desire to succeed, determination and self-motivation
  • Evident successful sales background, ideally B2B
  • Creative and proactive with their sales strategy
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Impeccable communication skills
