Job Description - Business Development Manager

The key to successful delivery of any business model. Its fair to say that even in this crazy new world of artificial intelligence and an app for just about everything, its still impossible to replace the fundamental basic fact that to establish any meaningful long term business relationship, it still comes down to face to face contact, a good handshake and trust between people to deliver on promises.

Construction is an industry that although now embracing MMC, is still somewhat traditional in most approaches, and in the world of front end business development, its certainly the case.

We are retained by a top tier construction business, with an incredible history, and credible business plan, to recruit a construction professional with extensive experience in the management of existing and development of new client relationships. The successful applicant will come from a tier one / two contracting business, and be looking to join a household name with excellent credentials.

Requirements

Your experience and knowledge of the Surrey, Sussex and south London market, together with your understanding of the procurement routes of blue chip and public sector clients will be invaluable in assisting the further growth of the company. The company have invested heavily with business development tools and marketing aids / national advertising, and have a group capability ensuring the company message is delivered nationally through a host of channels.
