The Talent Division is delighted to be partnering with a leading professional services organisation to recruit an ambitious Business Development Manager for their growing Sheffield team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven business developer who enjoys building senior-level relationships, generating new opportunities, and working closely with professional services networks including Accountants, Lawyers, Lenders, and other key introducers.
The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will:
* Develop and grow relationships with Accountancy Practices, Law Firms, Financial Institutions and key referral partners.
* Build trusted relationships with Partners, Directors and senior decision-makers.
* Identify and convert new business opportunities across a range of professional services.
* Work with specialist teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
* Create and execute growth plans to expand market presence.
* Represent the business at networking events, seminars and industry forums.
* Manage pipelines, track opportunities and maintain CRM records.
* Provide market intelligence and identify emerging opportunities.
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
* A proven track record in business development within professional services, insolvency, restructuring, corporate finance, legal, accountancy, banking or financial services.
* Experience developing senior-level referral relationships and generating new business.
* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand complex business challenges.
* Confidence communicating with Partners, Directors and business owners.
* Excellent networking, communication and influencing skills.
* A self-motivated approach with strong pipeline management skills.
Highly desirable:
* An established network within the professional services market.
* Knowledge of insolvency, restructuring or corporate finance.
* Experience of advisory-led or mid-market environments.
