Cube Install is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to open doors, build relationships early in the project lifecycle and generate a continuous flow of qualified opportunities across the construction supply chain. About Cube Cube Install Ltd is a Norwich-based specialist in washroom systems – toilet cubicles, IPS panelling, vanity units and ducting – supplied and installed on education, healthcare, commercial and accommodation projects across the UK. We work with architects, main contractors and fit-out contractors to deliver complete washroom packages from specification through to installation. The role Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you'll be responsible for positioning Cube as a trusted partner before projects reach tender stage – increasing the likelihood of specification, engagement and project award. Your day-to-day will include: * Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified project opportunities to support annual sales and order intake targets * Identifying new projects, market opportunities and key stakeholders across our target sectors * Prospecting and engaging decision-makers at the earliest possible stage of a project * Developing lasting relationships with architects and specifiers, main contractors, fit-out contractors, developers, project managers and end clients * Conducting regular face-to-face meetings, presentations and site visits * Promoting Cube's capabilities, products and delivery model to secure specifications, preferred supplier status or early contractor engagement * Monitoring projects through pre-construction and handing well-qualified opportunities to our estimating and sales teams * Gathering market intelligence on upcoming projects, procurement routes, competitor activity and client buying behaviour * Keeping accurate pipeline forecasts and activity records in the CRM * Supporting marketing initiatives, events and exhibitions What we're looking for Essential: * Proven experience in business development, sales or account management within the construction industry * Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to open doors and engage senior stakeholders * Commercially aware, with a solid understanding of project-based sales * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Self-motivated, driven and target-focused * Organised approach to pipeline management and CRM usage * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel Desirable: * Experience working with architects, specifiers, main contractors or subcontractors * Knowledge of the washroom, interior fit-out, joinery, furniture or construction product markets * An existing network within the education, healthcare, commercial or accommodation sectors How success is measured Qualified pipeline value generated, pipeline coverage against target, new client relationships established, specifications secured, enquiries generated, and your contribution to order intake and revenue Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
