Job Description - Business development manager

Prometeon Tyre Group, a leading name in the tire industry is searching for Business Development Manager.

This is a field based role for Midlands region.

Key responsibilities: Prospecting new customers, seeking out opportunities and developing relationships with both dealers and end users.

Involving in development and deployment of a monthly/quarterly/yearly sales plan in line with approved sales strategies, to accomplish volume/margin/mix targets.

Developing and building direct relationship with the senior leadership of Fleet/Distributor/OEM accounts to increase Prometeon brand awareness, promote Prometeon products, and develop profitable business relationships to gain more market shares.

Focusing on the new distributor development for the area that the current distributor could not cover.

Internal communication and alignment of individually customized business scheme, with Legal, Finance and Supply Chain logistic team etc.

to achieve sales target and meet company’s compliance requirements at meanwhile.

Providing training and technical advice to customers and providing support in customer negotiations.

Collecting the market information/sales data to make our offering competitive against main competitors.

Facilitating the distributor for new Fleet project bidding, provide technical support for customers according to their various requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Good level of general education, University degree.

Background and proven record in a sales role for manufacturing industry.

Experience of B2 B sales skills.

Excellent communication skills, able to successfully negotiate and influence at a senior level.

Excellent presentation skills.

Flexible approach to work and able to work under pressure.

Able to demonstrate sound understanding of financial acumen (eg P&L, GM% etc).

Ability to organize workload, be self-motivated to ensure deadlines are achieved.

Ability to work alone on own initiative and as part of a team.

Able to develop and maintain strong relationships.

Good IT knowledge and skills, to include Excel.

Able to drive with full driving license.
