You’ll be joining a business where new customer opportunities are currently at their highest level, with forecasts strong going into 2024 and beyond. This is driven by a reimagining of our sales journey, underpinned by a significant digital transformation investment.
As a result, we need a new Business Development Manager (BDM) to ensure we capitalise on this increase in opportunities. You’ll be one of the most recognisable faces in our business, responsible for pitching to a combination of new customers, previous 'win-back' customers and our existing customers, aiming to increase our growing client base.
The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced salesperson (b2b), used to listening to customers, understanding their issues and being able to showcase propositions to help them overcome their challenges. While fleet management experience is not essential, a passion for sales and business growth is.
Finally, a BDM who is confident in using LinkedIn or other social media channels to nurture relationships and showcase both their company and personal brand would be advantageous.
What you'll do
You'll help us in a number of ways: Make direct contact with pre-qualified prospects to move them along the sales funnel from opportunities to new customers
Work with both existing and previous customers, re-engaging them with Gofor and further strengthening our commercial relationship Deliver exceptional ‘Introduction to Gofor’ meetings, exciting and engaging our prospect customers, encouraging them to make Gofor their fleet partner of choice Utilise a variety of channels to drive conversion including, phone, email, LinkedIn, and Salesforce Engagement platform Take advantage of our vast array of sales enablement assets to educate prospects and guide them along the Gofor sales journey Support our Head of Sales to mentor and nurture our Business Development Executives (as required) Collaborate with the wider account and customer success teams to develop and refine additional revenue opportunities across our client base, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service at all times
