Job Description - Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager - Full Time / 4 days per week We are looking for a number of talented Business Development Managers to join our team across the UK (London, Birmingham, Scotland - Glasgow or Edinburgh). If you love your city and what it has to offer in terms of culture, food, drink, spaces, accommodation and attractions then this is the job for you!We are looking for a someone who understands the importance of relationships and someone who brings the right attitude to work with no ego other than to connect with likeminded people. You will be part of an exciting hospitality company and will become the face of your city when it comes to corporate and leisure venues. At Hotal we are strong believers in ensuring we have the strongest team players within the business, and for that reason, we are continuously striving to support ongoing professional and personal development for each team member. YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES: Must have experience of working in the hospitality industry within this roleResearch and identify new business opportunities through new target markets, existing & new partnerships, and establishing new ways of reaching existing markets.Prior success in achieving KPIs.Seeking out the appropriate contacts & decision makers in an organisation and build strong relationships with all key stakeholders and present how our products and services can support their requirements.Managing a pipeline of opportunities, from inception to successful close using the available sales enablement tools and processesDeep understanding of our products and services and can articulate these at all levels, to secure new business opportunities.Conduct customer meetings and demos, face to face or online.Attend & represent the business at industry conferences and events, proactively engaging with new prospective clients.Identify new potential partnerships, qualify the opportunity and integration capabilities & benefits to Hotal.Identify companies within your City who we can work with on all their large and small scale events.Support the Sales Director in delivering the new business strategy, have a good awareness of the industry landscape and can adapt and respond quickly to the changing climate.Work with your event sales specialists on existing enquiries and driving ROI for venues.Report on a weekly basis on new opportunities, pipeline progression and new business wins/losses (conversion)Strong time management and organisational capabilities.Must have your own car if the role isn’t in London WHY JOIN US - WANT A CAREER THAT WORKS FOR YOU? We have an incredible inclusive culture and provide a supportive & collaborative work environment for ambitious professionals.We strive to have a lively and vibrant work place with an emphasis on getting the job done whilst having fun and having a great work-life balance.We believe that teamwork is the core basis of everything we do.
