From early talent to experienced specialists, we foster an environment where curiosity is fuelled, achievements are recognised, and growth is built into the journey.\n\nPlease note: As a defence site, we operate under ITAR regulations and all applicants must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.\n\nRole Overview:\n\nThe Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sustainable revenue growth by leading front\u2011end pursuits and strategic campaigns across the Aerial Refuelling (AAR) portfolio. This includes identifying and developing opportunities for new technologies with existing customers, as well as expanding Eaton\u2019s footprint with new customers and markets.\n\nWorking cross\u2011functionally, the BD Manager shapes value propositions, develops robust customer solutions, and manages pursuits through to contract award in alignment with the Life Cycle Management Process. This role is central to strengthening Eaton\u2019s market position and building long\u2011term customer relationships.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nStrategic Growth \u0026 Opportunity Development\n\n * Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities using Eaton ProLaunch best practices.\n\n * Lead front\u2011end business development activities for both existing and emerging markets.\n\n * Develop compelling value propositions and solutions that address customer needs and operational challenges.\n\n * Maximise revenue generation and ensure order intake aligns with annual business targets.\n\n\n\n\nCustomer Engagement \u0026 Capture Leadership\n\n * Act as the primary interface for assigned customers, markets, or geographies.\n\n * Serve as Capture Team Manager or contribute as a key member of capture teams.\n\n * Build and maintain long\u2011term relationships with key decision\u2011makers across OEMs and end\u2011users.\n\n * Represent the business in proposal development, bid submission, and contract negotiations.\n\n\n\n\nInternal Collaboration \u0026 Strategy Contribution\n\n * Work closely with engineering, programme management, and product teams to shape customer\u2011focused solutions.\n\n * Provide market insights to support internal strategy development, including product roadmaps, technology planning, and competitive analysis.\n\n * Champion the \u201cvoice of the customer\u201d across the organisation, promoting behaviours that enhance customer value and satisfaction.\n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n * Minimum 5+ years experience in Aerospace.
