This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing engineering training provider, working with over 300 employer partners across industry. You’ll play a key role in driving growth, building relationships, and delivering apprenticeship and training solutions that make a real impact. If you’re commercially driven, confident with clients, and enjoy a consultative sales approach — this role offers real autonomy, purpose, and long-term opportunity. Why This Role Stands Out Home-based role with full autonomy 42 days annual leave including bank holidays Christmas shutdown (7 days reserved) Commission structure in place Strong pension contribution Life insurance (4x salary) Private healthcare after qualifying period Early finish every Friday Supportive, people-focused organisation with genuine progression Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:15pm and Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm , with flexibility required to meet the needs of the role. The Role This is a key commercial role responsible for driving sales and employer engagement activity across West Yorkshire (Selby through Leeds to Sheffield) . You’ll take ownership of your own territory, managing a pipeline of opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and delivering a first-class consultative sales experience to employers across engineering and manufacturing sectors. What You’ll Be Doing Delivering a consultative sales approach across apprenticeship and training solutions Managing and developing a pipeline of opportunities to achieve personal sales targets Building strong, long-term relationships with employers and key accounts Delivering engaging sales presentations and proposals to prospects and clients Attending meetings with employers, stakeholders, and industry contacts Maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records of all activity Gathering and sharing market intelligence to support business strategy Supporting and attending events, exhibitions, open days and promotional activities Contributing to team activity, meetings and wider organisational initiatives What We’re Looking For Proven experience in business development, key account management, or employer engagement Strong consultative sales skills and ability to influence at all levels Confident presenting and building credibility with clients Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially aware Comfortable managing your own territory in a home-based role Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Experience in a similar role and sector would be a distinct advantage. You’ll ideally be based centrally within West Yorkshire , given the regional coverage of the role. Why Apply?
