Job Title: Business Development Manager - Bedroom Furniture

Industry Sector: Bedroom Furniture, Wardrobes, KBB, Regional House Builders, National House Builders, Private Developers and Builders

Area to be covered: South West and South Wales

Remuneration: £50,000 - £70,000 + £10,000 bonus

Benefits: Company car (hybrid available) / allowance (£500 p/m) & benefits

The role of the Business Development Manager - Bedroom Furniture will involve:

• Field sales position selling a manufactured range of fitted bedroom furniture/ wardrobes
• Selling into national house builders, regional house builders and private developers
• Leveraging national agreements with national house builders
• 80% new business development, ideally within your own network of contacts
• 20% account managing 2-10 national housebuilder accounts
• Orders from £1,000 for one off individuals to £100,000+ for a block of flats
• Working closely with the installation management team, who meet installers and contractors on site

The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager - Bedroom Furniture with:

• New build sector sales experience
• Must have sold extensively into national house builders, regional house builders and/ or private developers
• Proven track record in field sales within the KBB / interior building products
• An outlook of looking for longevity
• Managing the area like it was your own business
• Ability to sell into a variety of different levels from MDs down to site level
• Hard working mentality
• Commercially minded
