Business Development Manager - Data Centres

JDP is looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth within the rapidly expanding UK Data Centre sector. You will need a proven track record of dealing with and selling into tier one contractors who are involved in the delivery of current and future data centre products.

This is a national role focused on identifying and winning opportunities with data centre developers, operators, consultants, contractors, and supply chain partners. You will be responsible for promoting and selling JDP's extensive portfolio of drainage, ducting, cable protection, water management, and infrastructure solutions, including both JDP-manufactured products and specialist third-party ranges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business growth strategy for the UK data centre market.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across developers, consultants, contractors, and operators.
• Secure product specifications and project opportunities from early design through to project delivery.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Manage a strong pipeline of data centre projects and provide regular sales forecasts.
• Represent JDP at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• Proven business development or specification sales experience within construction, infrastructure, civil engineering, or utilities.
• Strong knowledge of the UK data centre market and project lifecycle.
• Existing relationships with key organisations operating within the sector.
• Demonstrable track record of winning major projects and delivering profitable sales growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, commercially focused, and comfortable working nationally.
