Area to be covered: National (Predominately Manchester to Oxford) ideally based Midlands

Remuneration: £50,000 + annual bonus circa 15%

The role of the Business Development Manager - Fixings & Fasteners will involve:

• Field sales position promoting a range of fasteners predominately for the lighting & wire suspension market place
• All of your time will be spent selling to roofing & cladding contractors, main contractors, industrial end users, builders merchants, distributors and construction companies / manufacturers
• Order values ranging from £10k-£500k
• Turnover target circa £1m-£2m
• Reporting directly to Sales Director

The ideal applicant will be Business Development Manager - Fixings & Fasteners with:

• Must have a proven track in construction field sales
• Must have sold to contractors & distributions
• Ideally experience in the fixings & fasteners OR roofing / cladding industry however not essential
• Personable, friendly and confident in building relationships
• Team player but can demonstrate initiative and work well independently
• Computer literate, experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Commercially astute, professional, organised
