Job Description - Business Development Manager - London On Trade

Our client:

  • This drinks business has seen impressive YoY growth in the past few years, not only in the UK but across the globe. They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their London sales team.
  • They have seen yearly double-digit growth and they don’t plan on slowing down! This role is a newly created position with endless development opportunities.
  • There has never been a better time to join this company as they lead their exciting category within the drinks space.

The Business Development Manager role:

  • You will develop relationships and secure listings with On Trade venues (Bars, Hotels, Restaurants). These will predominantly be independent businesses with some Off Trade venues such as independent bottle shops.
  • As Business Development Manager, you will be a strong relationship builder who has a good knowledge and understanding of the On Trade scene. You’ll be passionate about the product and able to sell to bar owners, hotel manager and sommeliers alike.
  • Reporting directly into the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and achieving sales targets. This brand is well recognised and respected in the premium On Trade and there is heaps to go after in this role!

Ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager position:

  • You will have a strong understanding of the On Trade drinks scene and a passion for the drinks industry that will make you a natural ambassador for the brand.
  • You will be a strong relationship builder who is able to "speak the language" of sommeliers and mixologists in target venues.
  • Based in London
