Job Description - Business Development Manager, NHS Division
Due to continuing expansion our client, an international technology and communications company is actively seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and ambitious Business Development Manager to ensure client satisfaction, promote new services, nurture lasting relationships between the company and clients.
Reporting to the Sales Manager and working remotely, responsibilities will include:
* Manage a portfolio of new and existing clients and build strong and positive relationships with clients at various levels.
* Update clients on issues such as new products, promotional campaigns, or joint marketing programs.
* Provide detailed management information reports to clients as and when required.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure credible solutions and smooth implementation.
* Carry out analysis and produce client reports on an as and when required basis.
* Act as the key interface between the Clients and all relevant internal departments.
* Support tender, framework and procurement activity, coordinating high‑quality commercial and technical inputs.
* Manage customer issues by using an internal support desk system to ensure the issues are resolved in a fast and professional manner.
* To complete the company sales training program (in whatever form) given to you and adapt it for your personal use and stay up to date with new products and technology.
* Uphold quality, information governance and security standards throughout the sales lifecycle.
The successful candidate will have 2 years sales experience in a business development role and a background in IT systems, NHS and/or medical sales could be beneficial, display exceptional communication, interpersonal abilities, and organisational skills together with a corporate and professional approach to work at all times.
You will demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively and prioritise a heavy workload to meet strict deadlines. As this is a field-based role a full, clean driving licence is essential.
