Remuneration: £40,000-£55,000neg + £20,000-£30,000 uncapped commission

The role of the Technical Business Development Manager - Renewable Power Hire will involve:

• Field sales position selling the hire of renewable power
• Promoting solar generators, solar smart frames, battery storage units and renewable power accessories
• Predominantly selling into construction contractors as well as civils and utilities
• Targeting sustainable teams within the contractors
• Responsible for growing an area with £1m turnover
• 50% new business within existing contractors and 50% new business within new customers
• Projects typically 26 weeks+, £50,000+ order values
• Glenigan leads provided, plus an influx of leads from our clients established modular hire field sales team

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Business Development Manager - Renewable Power Hire with:

• Must have hire/ rental industry experience
• Ideally technical knowledge of renewable power products
• Open to all power generations, battery and solar field sales backgrounds
• Happy to travel (large area)
• Experience of providing power related solutions and communicating technical product knowledge
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills
• Proven new business and account management experience
• Construction sector experience
• Understanding of electrical installations
