Job Description - Business Development Manager (UK)

The Business Development Manager will be instrumental in identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the UK market. This on -site role requires a proactive, results -focused professional with extensive knowledge of the localization industry and the ability to thrive in a fast -paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business prospects in the UK market to grow the company’s client base and market footprint.
  • Establish and sustain robust, long -term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the localization industry.
  • Conduct thorough market research to pinpoint trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape specific to the UK market.
  • Create and implement strategic business development plans to meet growth targets in the localization sector.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to synchronize strategies and ensure a unified approach to market penetration.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals, pitches, and presentations to potential clients and partners.
  • Negotiate and finalize deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Monitor and report on business development activities, performance metrics, and market insights to the executive team.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and economic factors impacting the localization market in the UK.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and establish valuable connections.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Linguistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role within the localization or translation industry, particularly in the UK market.
  • Proven success in driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK as required.
