Business Development Manager - Vans

LSH Auto is a UK premium automotive retailer and one of the leading Mercedes-Benz dealership groups, offering new and used cars and vans alongside servicing, repairs, MOTs, parts, and a broad range of aftersales support. With a strong presence in the automotive sector, the business is focused on delivering high-quality customer experiences and building long-term value across both retail and commercial markets.

This role offers the opportunity to help grow the van sales side of the business by developing new commercial opportunities and strengthening relationships with fleet customers. As Business Development Manager - Vans, you will play a key part in expanding market presence, shaping sales direction, and supporting sustainable growth through a strong understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.

Hours - 40

Salary - £34,591 plus OTE plus company car

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the van sales market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet and commercial vehicle clients.
• Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and market share targets.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform commercial decisions.
• Prepare forecasts and performance reports to support business planning.

• 3+ years of business development experience in automotive or commercial vehicle sales.
• Strong knowledge of the van market and fleet customer needs, with hands-on experience in fleet prospecting.
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively and build lasting relationships with commercial clients.
• Ability to analyse market trends and turn insights into effective sales strategy.
• Holds a valid UK driving licence and is confident managing field-based client meetings.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
