Areas to be covered: a) M62 Corridor and b) M25 Corridor (Basingstoke round to Essex)

Remuneration: £50,000-£52,000 + £20,000-£25,000 Commission

The role of the Business Development Manager – Warehouse Loading Bay Systems will involve:

* Field sales role, promoting loading bay safety solutions for warehousing with a focus on; cold storage, distribution centres, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and retail

* Promoting loading bay safety solutions into warehouse facilities (targeting health & safety managers, operations managers and finance managers.)

* Typical loading bay solutions £5,000-£250,000

* Customers include: Coca-Cola, Mars, DHL, GXO etc.

* Working in a team of four nationally, tasked with bringing in circa £350,000-£500,000 of new business development

* New business/ hunter role

* Focus will be on selling directly into end users and owners of warehousing facilities or 3PL companies, discussing their safety requirements for loading bays (there are more than 45,000 loading bays for food & beverage alone)

The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager – Warehouse Loading Bay Systems with:

* Proven hunter with a field sales track record in business development

* Must have sold into warehouse associated facilities

* Comfortable selling a premium product/ solutions

* Tonnes of drive and enthusiasm

* Ideally sold capital equipment or material handling solutions

* Prior sector experience within cold storage, distribution centres, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and retail sectors would be ideal

* Specific safety sector experience is not essential but may be useful

* Knowledge of loading bays not required

* Self-starter, with coachable mentality
