Job Description - Business Development Representative

Our client is a leading global IT company providing essential technology for businesses and everyday life. As part of their expanding operation in Glasgow City Centre, we're looking for Business Development Representatives (BDR) to drive and promote our client's portfolio, which includes PCs, workstations, hybrid solutions and services across corporate enterprise, mid-market, and public sector customers. As a BDR, you'll play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client's presence in key markets. Your focus will be on building relationships with IT decision-makers, identifying new opportunities, and generating qualified leads. You'll support the sales pipeline through inbound and outbound calls and customer engagement as part of our clients Commercial Marketing Team.
What You'll Be Doing:
Drive lead generation through targeted inbound and outbound calls aligned with marketing campaigns, ensuring accurate system updates Build strong customer relationships by promoting products and services Profile customers to understand their needs and tailor solutions effectively Partner with sales and marketing teams to align messaging and drive revenue growth Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and update CRM systems Provide feedback on campaign performance and customer insights to improve outreach Develop sales forecasting insights for current and emerging opportunities Handle objections professionally and deliver relevant information to prospects Meet or exceed KPIs including call volumes, conversion rates, and lead quality
Your Profile:
Confident and engaging communicator with a natural ability to build and nurture strong relationships Enthusiastic about emerging technologies and IT trends, with a keen interest in aligning them to our clients business strategy Driven by a positive mindset and a strong motivation to uncover new business opportunities Flexible and growth-oriented, eager to learn new skills and evolve alongside the business#
