Job Description - Business Development Representative
We're recruiting on behalf of an innovative UK business at the forefront of low-carbon construction materials. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive the adoption of pioneering cement technologies that support the construction industry's transition to Net Zero.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial growth of a revolutionary low-carbon cement solution, supporting its expansion across selected regions of the UK and Ireland. Working closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, ready-mix producers and precast manufacturers, you'll help bring next-generation building materials into mainstream construction projects while developing long-term commercial relationships across the industry.
Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with technical and commercial colleagues to deliver successful customer outcomes.
* Represent the business at industry events, customer meetings and technical presentations.

You'll ideally have:
* Experience in business development, technical sales or specification sales within construction, building materials or a related sector.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* The ability to engage confidently with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
* A proactive, self-motivated approach and willingness to travel across your territory.
* A genuine interest in sustainability, innovation and the future of construction.
Why Join?
* Be part of a business helping transform the future of sustainable construction.
* Support the commercialisation of a truly innovative low-carbon building material.
* Combine technical understanding with strategic business development.
* Competitive salary of £45,000 plus bonus and car allowance.
* Hybrid, field-based role with excellent long-term career progression and growth potential.
If you're passionate about sustainability, innovation and developing strong commercial partnerships within the construction industry, we'd love to hear from you.
