About the Role
Due to rapid and continued growth, we are expanding our global team and looking for a Business Development Representative to grow our schools and districts business in North America. Primarily focused on the US market, this is a great opportunity to join a very fast growing innovative tech business that is making a really positive difference to classrooms.
We’re looking for a creative thinker to support our Account Executives by creating and developing opportunities for them to close.
We are offering an excellent package, lots of development opportunities and a flexible working arrangement with 3 days required in the office and two days working from home, in the office or anywhere that you’re most comfortable.
Office is based in the centre of Bristol.
Responsibilities
Researching online for prospect data and information.
Crafting beautifully written emails and developing outreach strategies.
Confident making calls and talking to prospects.
Qualifying incoming enquiries and escalating sales leads as appropriate.
Closing and processing smaller opportunities as they come in.
Working with customer success and sales team in the US to assist with opportunities.
Using CRM for all communications, tracking progress and reporting goals.
Reporting to the Head of Sales.
About you
Excellent written communication skills with an understanding of how to build relationships via email.
Graduate or a proven track record of achieving objectives.
Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to negotiate and problem-solve.
Knowledge of digital tools, apps and education would be an advantage.
Attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple tasks, and good time management skills.
Passion for education and helping educators access transformative digital tools.
Strong decision-making skills.
Sales or customer focused communications experience would be an advantage.

37.5 hours per week, 11am-7pm Mon-Thurs, and 9-5 on a Friday
