Most people wait years for a shot at leadership. As a Business Development Representative on our client’s Business Development Programme, your performance decides how fast you get there. No experience needed, just ambition and a willingness to learn.
This is an in-person, field-based role. You’ll start face to face with customers in communities across Birmingham, learning the business from the ground up.

They represent one of the UK’s best-known telecoms and connectivity brands, a household name for mobile, superfast fibre broadband, 5G and home entertainment. More About the Role
Every Business Development Representative starts in the field. You’ll work face to face with customers across Birmingham, learning how to start conversations, understand what people need and recommend the right mobile, broadband or home entertainment package. This is where you build the foundation: confidence, resilience and a real understanding of how the business grows.
What you’ll do
* Meet customers face to face in communities across Birmingham
* Build rapport and find out how people use their phone, broadband and TV
* Recommend the right package and explain it clearly and honestly
* Guide customers through the sign-up process
* Work towards individual and team sales goals
* Take part in daily coaching, product training and team briefings
* As you progress, help coach and support newer team members
What success looks like
* First four weeks: fully trained, out in the field with the team and through your probation period
* First few months: consistent results, earning commission and building your reputation in the team
* Beyond that: stepping into more responsibility, coaching others and moving through the programme based on performance

No business experience is needed. If you’ve studied at university, captained a sports team, worked in retail or hospitality, or taken the lead anywhere in your life, you’ve already started building the skills this role develops. Graduates are very welcome.
What you’ll get
* Total earnings range between £1,935 - £2000 per calendar month, made up of a base salary plus uncapped performance-based commission (subject to successful completion of a four-week probationary period).
