The Role
As Business Improvement Manager, you’ll be responsible for making the operation run better as the business scales, faster, leaner, and more resilient. You’ll work closely with operational teams to identify inefficiencies, remove bottlenecks, strengthen controls, and ensure processes can support growth without compromising quality or compliance.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role. You’ll operate in detail, take ownership of improvement initiatives, and drive measurable outcomes across people, processes, and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead operational and business improvement initiatives across core functions
Analyse and redesign end-to-end processes to improve efficiency, scalability, quality, and compliance
Implement standardised, scalable ways of working to support rapid growth
Drive performance through clear KPIs, SLAs, and data-led insight
Partner with operational leaders to improve productivity, capacity, and cost efficiency
Reduce operational risk through stronger controls, governance, and documentation
Work with Product and Technology to ensure systems effectively support operations
Own change delivery, embedding improvements and driving adoption
Embed a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
What we are looking for
Proven experience in operations-focused business improvement, process improvement, or operational excellence roles
Track record of delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, quality, and risk
Comfortable working in detail across complex, high-volume operational processes
Experience operating in regulated and/or service-based environments
Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn data and insight into action
Confident stakeholder management skills across operational teams and senior leadership
Highly organised, pragmatic, and delivery-focused
