Job Description - Business Operations & Finance Coordinator

Business Operations & Finance Coordinator

Location: Ipswich - Rural location (Office-Based)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm (35 hours per week)

Are you an organised, proactive Business Operations / Finance Coordinator with all-round experience in administration, business operations, transport / logistics planning and accounts? Do you enjoy variety in your role and want the opportunity to develop into a key position within a successful and growing company?

Polkadotfrog are delighted to be partnering with a family-run, established business in their search for a Business Operations & Finance Coordinator. This is more than a traditional administration or accounts role – it's an opportunity to gain exposure across finance, operations, transport and business reporting while helping drive efficiency and supporting the continued growth of the business.

As the successful Business Operations / Finance Coordinator, you'll work closely with management and play an important role in keeping the business running smoothly, whilst developing your skills and knowledge across multiple areas of the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing;

* Customer Service & Administration: handling customer & supplier queries, processing customer orders

* Operations & Transport Coordination: Act as a communication link between the office, drivers and production team

* Reporting & Business Support: preparing monthly management reports and track key business KPI’s

* Finance & Bookkeeping: maintain accurate financial records, process purchase and sales invoices, monthly VAT returns

What We're Looking For:

* Previous experience within a business operational support role

* Bookkeeping, accounts or finance administration experience highly desirable

* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
