    • Own and improve the monthly management accounting close process, working alongside finance and operational colleagues to ensure accuracy and efficiency
    • Act as the primary owner of Sidekick (our internal audio system) within the business operations function, developing a deep understanding of how the audio business uses the system
    • Identify deficiencies in Sidekick, translate them into clear requirements, and work closely with IT and technology colleagues to drive improvements — whether through system development or process change
    • Establish and run regular processes to ensure Sidekick data is consistently updated and reliable
    • Track expected vs actual gross margin ($ and %) at a project level, highlighting variances and risks
    • Ensure Accounting teams have timely and accurate information to record cost accruals each month
    • Coordinate operational activities across multiple international studios, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and performance targets
    • Own and support business performance tracking (revenue, KPIs, forecasting) across the portfolio
    • Lead initiatives to improve and scale operational processes, tools, and ways of working
    • Act as a key liaison and business partner to studio and operational teams, improving communication and execution
    • Support or lead planning cycles (e.g. forecasts, capacity planning) within Sidekick
    • Design and deliver dashboards and reporting to provide clear business visibility (e.g. using Power BI)
    • Work with studios to align audio production, services, and operational priorities

Key Relationships

    • Finance teams, including:
      • Shared Service team in India (vendor payments and customer billing)
      • Accounting teams (ensuring accurate inter-company invoicing between studios and cost accruals)
      • FP&A teams (monitoring performance, forecasting, and margin delivery)
    • IT teams (for Sidekick enhancements, fixes, and prioritisation of improvements)
    • Studio leadership and production teams
    • Central Product, Marketing, and Finance stakeholders

Requirements
  • 4–8+ years' experience in roles such as business operations, finance operations, project management, business analysis, or process improvement
  • Numerate and comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data; a qualified accountant is not required, but a strong affinity for numbers is essential
  • Experience working closely with operational colleagues and a genuine interest in understanding how a business works end-to-end
  • Experience owning or managing internal tools, platforms, or systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, BI tools, bespoke operational systems)
  • Proven ability to identify process or system deficiencies and drive improvements — ideally with a background in business analysis or operational change
  • Strong business partnering experience, supporting decision-making and performance delivery across multiple teams or regions
  • Experience building dashboards and metrics; proficiency with Power BI or similar BI tools preferred
  • Highly organised with strong project management and operational skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical audiences and vice versa
  • Background in gaming, digital entertainment, tech, or other relevant industries

Desirable

  • Experience in audio, games services, or external development/outsourcing models preferred
  • Understanding of audio pipelines, localisation, VO, or external development workflows
  • Experience working with distributed or international teams/studios
  • Experience driving adoption of internal tools or platforms across organisations
  • Exposure to live operations, monetisation, and lifecycle management
  • Financial modelling and forecasting experience

Benefits
  • Work at the intersection of games, audio, and global production, supporting leading studios
  • High-impact role with clear ownership and immediate responsibility
