The Role

As a Business Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering a stimulating and comprehensive business curriculum to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5. You will foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and financial literacy skills, while inspiring students to consider a wide range of business and career pathways.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and school's high standards.


• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and celebrates student achievement.


• Assess student progress through a variety of methods, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.


• Collaborate with colleagues within the Business Studies department and across the school to create a rich and rewarding learning experience for students.


• Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in business and economics, incorporating real-world examples into your teaching.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.


• Proven experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level, preferably across Key Stages 3 and 4.


• A passion for business and a desire to inspire students to explore the world of commerce.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
