A newly established and ambitious law firm is seeking a Business Recovery and Insolvency Solicitor to join their dynamic and growing team in the Manchester area. Specialising in the financial services and real estate sectors, the firm boasts extensive experience in bridging finance, distressed property transactions, and advising insolvency office holders and receivers.

The firm is looking to appoint a driven and skilled Business Recovery and Insolvency Solicitor with at least 1 year of post-qualified experience. The successful candidate will have a solid grounding in both contentious and non-contentious corporate insolvency and will work closely with insolvency practitioners and receivers to deliver practical, results-focused legal advice.

• Advise insolvency practitioners on administration, liquidation, receivership, and restructuring matters

• Manage a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious insolvency work

• Draft legal documents including applications, settlement agreements, and reports

• Represent clients in court and mediation settings

• Conduct legal research and provide strategic commercial advice

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored client solutions

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with at least 1 year PQE

• Solid experience in both contentious and non-contentious corporate insolvency

• Sound understanding of UK insolvency law and procedures

• Exceptional drafting, advocacy, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
