Job Description - Business Services/Accountancy Manager

Job Advertisement: Business Services Manager
Location: Brighton
Salary: Up to £56,000
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
This role is working for an Acocuntancy practice as Business Services Manager. You will be responsible for statutory accounting, management accounts and tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of growing businesses, review assignments, and provide client advice.
Ensure timely achievement of client deadlines.
Attend client meetings in person and via video link.
Assist with raising fee notes and managing work-in-progress.
Support in one-off project-based assignments.
Motivate, train, and develop Trainees, Seniors, and other colleagues.
Attend networking events and new client meetings with Fee Earners.

Requirements:

ACCA or ACA qualified with at least 2 years post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice.
Knowledge of various software packages, including cloud-based solutions.
Strong communication and team-working skills.
Experience in developing team members.
Organised, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
Some line management experience is desirable.
