Educo Recruitment is currently working with a secondary school in Haringey who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Business & Economics Teacher to start ASAP.

This position is to provide long-term sickness cover and offers an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for a full-time role within a supportive secondary school environment.

The Role

The successful teacher will take full responsibility for their classes, including:

* Teaching Business and Economics across the relevant secondary year groups

* Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons

* Full planning and marking responsibilities

* Assessing and monitoring student progress

* Preparing students for GCSE and/or A-Level examinations

* Maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement

* Providing effective feedback to support student progress

* Working closely with colleagues within the department

* Taking an active role in the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a teacher who:

* Has strong subject knowledge in Business and Economics

* Has experience teaching within a secondary school

* Is confident taking full responsibility for planning, teaching and marking

* Has high expectations of students and behaviour

* Is organised, reliable and professional

* Can quickly establish positive relationships with students

* Holds QTS or has relevant teaching experience
