About the Role

An Independent school in Haringey seeks an enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join their business and economics department. You'll deliver engaging business studies lessons across Key Stages 3-5, preparing students for the world of work.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies Teacher lessons, covering core business concepts such as marketing, finance, and human resources.


• Prepare students for examinations and assessments.


• Develop students' understanding of business principles and entrepreneurial skills.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.


• Contribute to the development of the business studies curriculum and resources.


• Organise and lead business-related extracurricular activities, such as business simulations and guest speaker events.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Business Studies.


• Proven experience in teaching business studies at secondary level.


• Strong subject knowledge and an understanding of the business world.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
