A progressive Independent academy in Islington is seeking a knowledgeable Business Studies Teacher to develop students’ understanding of the business world. This permanent, full-time role commences in September, providing the chance to guide students in business principles up to A-Level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Business Studies lessons at Key Stages 4 and A-Level, fostering students’ analytical and entrepreneurial skills.


• Guide students through A-Level coursework, ensuring their success in business-related projects.


• Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including case studies and business simulations.


• Contribute to the development of the Business Studies curriculum.


• Organize and lead business-related clubs and competitions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies or a related field.


• PGCE or QTS.


• Proven experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level, including A-Level.
