Job Description - Business Support Coordinator

Business Support Coordinator

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break) paying £12.50 to £13.00 per hr depending on experience, location is Gawcott, Buckingham

Newstaff Employment Services is currently recruiting for a Business Support Coordinator on behalf of a leading Safety & Regulatory Compliance company based in Buckingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company dedicated to helping clients reduce risk and improve safety in the workplace.

About the Role:
As a Business Support Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operational and financial administration of the business. A very diverse and fast paced position that touches all areas of the business including accounting, operations, sales support and general administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General office administration: answering phones, replying to emails
  • Check and enter all supplier invoices into the Sage 50 system
  • Support the Finance team with customer invoicing
  • Chasing any outstanding payments when required
  • Administer technician expense receipts each month
  • Liaise with insurance partner to update them on new vehicles added to the fleet or vehicles that have been scrapped, ensuring accurate insurance coverage
  • Take ownership of ordering office essentials such as stationery, kitchen supplies, printer cartridges etc
  • Handle motoring fines, ensuring company vehicles are correctly taxed and renew vehicle tax annually
  • Oversea vehicle breakdown cover, renewals and ensure the fleet is covered with appropriate emergency support to minimise downtime

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar office or coordination role
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Comfortable working with scheduling systems and handling multiple tasks
  • A team-oriented approach and a positive attitude
  • Strong practical knowledge of Sage 50 or similar
  • Prior experience using Dext (or equivalent platforms)
  • Excellent experience in Microsoft, general office 365, outlook, word and excel
