Business Tax Assistant Manager

We’re working with a well-established independent firm based in Cambridge who are seeking a Business Tax Assistant Manager to join their dynamic tax team.

If you're ATT and CTA qualified (or close to it) and want to move into a more client-facing, advisory-led role, this could be a great fit.

What the role looks like:
You’ll manage a portfolio of corporate clients, offering tax compliance and advisory services, and acting as the go-to business tax specialist. You’ll provide guidance to colleagues across the firm, review tax compliance work, and begin to build your own client and professional network.

This role also includes developing junior team members, spotting opportunities for added value, and contributing to the team’s success through collaboration, insight, and technical excellence.

What they’re looking for:

• ATT and CTA qualified (or qualified by experience with 4+ years in business tax)
• Solid understanding of corporate tax compliance and advisory matters
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
• Capable of reviewing work and mentoring junior staff
• Proactive, professional, and solutions-focused
• Comfortable using MS Office and tax software (e.g. FibreCRM, Intapp)
