Long Term Teachers are looking for an experienced Business Studies Teacher in the Taunton area. In this role you will be teaching a variety of business topics in line with schools curriculum. Subject teachers are responsible for the development of the progress of the students, working closely with other members of staff within the department and the school. 

We are looking for an individual that can work full time and is looking to start in September. A good understanding of the subject curriculum is a must as well as passion for the subject. You should promote a positive and purposeful learning and working environment that encourages collaboration.

Responsibilities : 

• Planning and preparing lessons and activities.
• Teaching in accordance with national curriculum and school standards.
• Setting and marking work carried out by students.
• Assessing and reporting on the development and progress of students.
• Work collaboratively with the Business department and wider staff.

Requirements : 

• QTS
• Passion for the development of Business skills for students
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience working in secondary schools
• Strong subject knowledge and lesson delivery skills.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
