About the Role:

A thriving secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a passionate and dedicated Business Teacher to join their successful Business Studies department. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a positive learning environment. The role involves teaching Business Studies across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (e.g., GCSE Business, BTEC Business, A-Level Business). The successful Business Teacher will need to demonstrate strong teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons.


• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.


• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback.


• Maintain accurate records of student attainment.


• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.


• Collaborate with colleagues within the department.


• Contribute to the development of the Business Studies curriculum.


• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians.


• Adhere to all school safeguarding policies.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Proven experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5.


• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Business.


• Strong classroom management skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.


• Commitment to continuous professional development.
