Job Description - Business Unit Manager - Energy Process

Product Safety & Compliance Manager
Kingsbury, North-West London
Monday – Friday (2 days in office)

My client are a well-known global industrial safety solution who design and manufacture a comprehensive range of high-quality interlocking systems aimed at ensuring safe operations across various sectors, including energy, transport, industrial, and manufacturingAs Product Safety and Compliance Manager will oversee and manage the company’s product safety programs, ensuring compliance regulatory standards. This role is essential in maintaining our clients reputation for excellence and our commitment to environmental and social responsibility.Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor product safety programs to ensure compliance with machinery directives and low voltage directives.
Establish and maintain compliance management systems to ensure product adherence to regulatory standards.
Review new and existing products to ensure they meet quality and safety regulations.
Specify tests and stay updated on ongoing product testing results to maintain records of product safety and quality.
Develop processes and suggest techniques to improve product compliance.
Stay updated on relevant global safety laws and regulations and communicate changes to the team.
Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate safety and compliance into product development.
Develop and implement sustainability strategies to reduce environmental impact and promote social responsibility.

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Environmental Science).
Proven experience in safety management, compliance assurance, quality control, and sustainability roles.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards, including machinery directives, low voltage directives, and other related standards and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
