Description

• Manage supplier relationships to secure the best terms for goods and services.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform purchasing strategies.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure timely procurement to support continuous supply chain operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand and meet purchasing requirements.
• Analyse cost-saving opportunities and implement improvements where possible.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies.

Profile

A successful Buyer should have:

• Previous experience in procurement or a related field within the FMCG industry.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills to deliver value to the business.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes and procurement best practices.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for purchasing and data analysis.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
