Are you a skilled negotiator with a keen eye for quality and a passion for building strong supplier partnerships? We’re looking for a commercially savvy Buyer to join our dynamic team in Reigate.

In this pivotal role, you’ll report to the Head of Procurement and play a key part in sourcing high-quality products from global suppliers. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, international environment where your decisions directly impact customer satisfaction and business success.

Job Description

Sourcing and evaluating products that align with customer requirements

Negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers

Ensuring compliance with ethical sourcing and sustainability standards

Coordinating with logistics and quality teams to ensure smooth import processes and timely deliveries

Managing tenders and providing accurate product and pricing data to internal stakeholders

Processing purchase orders and maintaining full documentation compliance

Collaborating with Demand Planning and Operations to meet stock and delivery targets

Building and nurturing strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers

Developing a deep understanding of customer brands and their unique needs

Requirements

Proven experience in a buying or procurement role (preferably within food or FMCG sectors)

Strong negotiation and influencing skills

Highly organised with excellent time management abilities

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset

Knowledge of international shipping and customs

Proficiency in IT systems
