Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working with a leading client within the Rail sector as they look to recruit a Buyer to join their team.

Buyer Duties:

• Manage the full sourcing process, from finding and qualifying suppliers to audits and contracts
• Oversee all purchasing tasks including RFQs, negotiations and setting up supply agreements
• Negotiate lead-times, schedules, minimum order sizes and forecast commitments
• Streamline the supplier base and build strong relationships to support business goals
• Improve supplier performance in quality, cost, and delivery through reviews and scorecards
• Ensure purchase orders match agreed terms, forecasts are accurate, and supply risks are minimised

Hours: 7:45am-4:45pm (Mon-Thur) and 8am-12pm (Fri)

Required skills & experience:

• Experience with Indirect procurement (Essential)
• Strong negotiation & communication skills
• Background within either Rail/Engineering/Aerospace/Technical Manufacturing (highly desirable)
