Description

• Manage the procurement process, including sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Analyse market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and priorities.
• Prepare and evaluate tenders and supplier contracts.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and expenditures.

Profile

A successful Buyer should have:

• Experience in procurement or supply chain management within the energy & natural resources industry.
• To have prior experience with working with public sector frameworks and regulations is a must.
• To have previously fully run the tender process from start to finish.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement systems and tools.
• Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
• A collaborative approach to working with internal and external stakeholders.
