Are you ready to take the next step in your buying career? A fast-paced and growing manufacturer based in Dereham is looking for a proactive and driven Buyer to join their commercial team.

As a Buyer, you’ll play a key role in sourcing and purchasing ingredients and packaging materials across a diverse range of categories.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers
• Managing supplier relationships and performance
• Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock availability
• Analysing market trends to inform purchasing decisions
• Collaborating with internal teams to support product development and align purchasing strategies with business goals

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior buyer looking to step into a more independent role while still being supported by a larger commercial team.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in sourcing and purchasing
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships
• Analytical mindset with experience in inventory and market analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel)
• Experience with global imports and associated documentation is preferred
• Background in food manufacturing or ingredient sourcing is a plus
