Working Hours

First Day (Induction): 9:00am start
Standard Working Hours: 7:30am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in line with company procurement procedures.
Use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to manage purchasing activities, supplier information, and order processing.
Maintain and manage the order book, ensuring delivery dates and order statuses are accurate.
Monitor supplier performance and proactively chase outstanding orders.
Expedite critical materials and components to support production schedules.
Work closely with Production, Planning, and Engineering teams to prioritise material requirements.
Identify and escalate supply chain risks that could impact manufacturing deadlines.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier commitments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Ensure all purchasing activity complies with company policies and commercial requirements.

Key Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a Buyer, Purchasing, or Procurement role.
Ideally from a manufacturing, engineering, or aerospace environment.
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of procurement processes and Purchase Order management.
Experience managing supplier order books and delivery schedules.
Proven ability to expedite parts and materials to meet urgent production demands.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
