Rate: Negotiable depending on experience
Duration: 6 months

Tec Partners are working with an exciting engineering client who are looking to recruit an Engineering Buyer to join their team on a 6-month contract basis.

As an Engineering Buyer you will play a crucial role in the supply chain to support engineering and manufacturing schedules. You’ll work closely with internal operations and engineering teams, ensuring crucial projects are delivered efficiently in line with required timelines, budgets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Obtain and compare quotes and assess suppliers

* Price negotiation and lead time optimisation

* Raise purchase orders and monitor deliveries

* Work with a range of teams to confirm purchase requirements

What they are looking for:

* Strong purchasing experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment

* Solid understanding of technical drawing and specifications

* Experience with purchasing and/or ERP systems

* Strong negotiation skills
