Location: Luton
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

An established Design & Build contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Buyer to join its commercial team based in Luton. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, this is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional looking to play a key role in delivering high-quality construction projects.

The Role

* Procure materials, plant and subcontract packages for multiple live projects.

* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.

* Negotiate prices and secure the best value for the business.

* Monitor material costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

* Work closely with the Commercial and Project Management teams to ensure materials are delivered on time.

* Manage supplier performance and maintain procurement records.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Buyer within the construction industry.

* Design & Build contractor experience preferred.

* Strong negotiation and communication skills.

* Good commercial awareness.

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
