Are you an experienced Buyer or Planner with strong negotiation skills and excellent attention to detail?

What you'll be doing...
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, both over the phone and in person
Negotiate with assigned suppliers to achieve the best pricing and payment terms
Manage stock levels to meet both business targets and customer expectations
Identify and onboard new suppliers and products in line with quality standards
Monitor and manage slow-moving and quarantined stock
Support Sales by attending meetings and providing relevant product and market information
What we're looking for...
Must have:
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Previous buying experience within a distribution environment
Bonus to have:
Proven negotiation experience
CIPS qualification
Chemistry or science-based degree
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics
