Buyer - Procurement

The expansion within the current procurement team of this internationally recognised retail name, means they need some new team members.

We are seeking someone with experience of supporting all aspects of the purchasing process. From identifying new suppliers, understanding market movements, and managing order placement in a busy commercial business - so you'll be involved in all stages, with lots of variety.

• You'll be sourcing products specifically in line with their instantly recognised customer needs, delivering on best price, lead times and quality.
• Maintaining the company's ethical sourcing policies.
• Identifying and introducing new suppliers, managing customer tenders, liaising and updating sales and marketing colleagues at relevant stages.
• Using your excellent negotiation skills, you'll be confident working around international shipping and delivery deadlines, payment terms and "deals"
• Raising formal purchase orders and all associated order administration on the in-house system.

Qualification:

• A recognised CIPS qualification combined with ideally 3 years buying/purchasing from the FMCG market, and if food or food service sector even better.

• Salary will be circa £40-£45,000 DOE

• Office based days will be at their Reigate base
